Anthony Tregoning – Managing Director
Anthony established FCR in 1985 and is managing director. He counsels a wide range of clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region on communication strategy, investor relations, corporate reputation, and issues and crisis management. Previously, he operated a media consultancy which represented the Financial Times and other leading financial publications in Australia, after spending three years as chief executive of an international trade finance company. Earlier, he was the director responsible for international educational publishing and marketing for the Macmillan Publishing Group, with which he worked for 12 years. In this role he was a director of companies in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Anthony was educated at Grenoble University and is a fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia. He is frequently invited to present papers on corporate and investor communication at seminars and conferences.
Brian Mahoney – Director
Brian, a director of FCR since 1987, has more than 30 years' experience in corporate and financial communication as a public relations consultant, and previously as a senior finance journalist and columnist with The Australian and Sunday Telegraph. He has managed media and investor relations, corporate reputation and issues management projects for companies in many industry sectors, particularly financial services, property and resources. Brian is a past NSW president of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a fellow of the institute.
Ashley Rambukwella – Director
Ashley has 14 years' experience in M&A, investor relations and media relations. During this time, he has developed an extensive network of financial and media contacts across a broad range of business disciplines. He joined FCR in 2004 from a leading public relations agency, and worked previously with the Olympic Co-ordination Authority and the Institution of Engineers, Australia. Ashley was educated at Sydney University and has completed business and marketing courses with the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is currently enrolled in Finsia's masters of finance and investment.
Rebecca Murray – Account Director
Rebecca has over 20 years' experience in financial services, covering marketing strategy, brand strategy, communication, advertising, research, and change management. Recent roles include general manager, marketing and client services at Colonial First State and general manager, membership and marketing at the Financial Planning Association. Previously, she held marketing management roles at ipac Securities, MMI Insurance and Zurich Australia. Rebecca holds a BSc (Hons 1) from the Australian National University and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management where she won the Allan Knott medal. She has also completed the graduate diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Erin Taylor – Account Director
Erin has over eight years' experience of financial communication, policy and media relations. Before joining FCR, she worked for a boutique financial communication firm providing media relations services for Macquarie Bank, Russell Investments, State Street, ETF Securities and Private Portfolio Managers (PPM) and for industry organisations including the Australian Custodial Services Association (ACSA). Previously, Erin worked in a communication role in London, as a policy analyst at a premier lobbying group and with Goldman Sachs JBWere's wealth management business. Erin has a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Journalism from UTS. In 2011, Erin participated in the highly-regarded Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) mentoring program.
Robert Williams – Account Director
Robert has over 12 years' experience of providing media and investor relations services, specialising in the resources and energy sectors. He has developed and implemented corporate profile building campaigns for a diverse range of clients, including the listings of a number of ASX100 companies, takeover and merger promotions for both multinational miners and domestic juniors, and countless media and roadshow campaigns for companies across the whole spectrum of commodities and locations. He holds a B.Eng (Chem) and B.Com (Economics, Marketing) from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA.
Kevin Kartun – Consultant (Resources)
Kevin has 38 years' experience as an investor relations specialist, minerals economist, equities analyst and geologist, mainly in Australia and South Africa but also internationally. He has served as general manager of Delta Gold, a director of Woulfe Mining and is currently principal of Karmar Mining Services. Kevin was formerly a director and rated resources analyst at BZW Australia and at Simpson McKie and Frankel Pollak in South Africa. He holds a BSc (Hons) and PhD in geology/geochemistry from the University of Cape Town, graduated from the Management Advancement Programme at Wits University and was a member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a Fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa and a Fellow of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Alexandra (Ali) Cain – Consultant (Media Training)
Ali joined FCR in 1998 as a financial communication consultant, before becoming a financial journalist, and today she assists FCR with media skills training. She writes regularly for the Australian Financial Review, the Sydney Morning Herald and Asset magazine and is editor of Finsia's inFinance magazine. She has written for CFO, CEO magazine (UK and US), Finance Director Europe (UK) and Pensions and Investments (US) and has recorded numerous video interviews on finance topics for yahoo!7 and co-authored two business books with David Koch. Ali holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Master of Arts in Communication Management from UTS.
Lee Gorman – Creative Services Manager
Lee has seven years’ experience in project management. He has overseen the successful production of many annual reports, takeover documents and offer documents for FCR, skillfully liaising with clients, suppliers and the company's creative team to produce outstanding results. Previously he managed Evolution Media's design studio for nearly five years, where he was responsible for a wide range of print and digital projects for financial and corporate clients. Lee has strong organisation skills and great attention to detail, as well as in-depth knowledge of print production and online capabilities.
